Rightstrokes is an art academy focused on mentoring self-taught artists and helping them succeed in the global art market. While their mission was strong and inspiring, their website wasn’t fully reflecting it. The old design felt cluttered, outdated, and difficult to navigate, which meant users were missing out on the value the brand offered.
My role was to redesign the website to make it visually modern, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand’s mission of creativity and accessibility.

The Challenge

The original homepage suffered from a cluttered layout, with too much information competing for attention and leaving users overwhelmed. The weak visual hierarchy meant that important sections like “Mission & Vision” and “Courses” were buried within text-heavy content, making them easy to miss.
On top of that, the outdated look and feel didn’t reflect the creative, vibrant identity of Rightstrokes. Engagement was low, with testimonials, stories, and achievements failing to build trust or excitement.
The client, Dipannita, also wanted the site to resonate with a broader audience and attract more international students, which the old design wasn’t equipped to achieve.

At the same time, it was important to highlight success stories and the community, building credibility and showcasing the real impact the brand has had on its students.

I started by analyzing the old design and identifying friction points in navigation, layout, and readability.
Wireframes & Structure
I reorganized the website into clear sections: Hero, About, Courses, Mission & Vision, Testimonials, Team, and Impact. Each section had a single purpose and goal.
Visual Design
In the visual design stage, I introduced clean typography with strong headlines to improve readability and create a clear hierarchy.
Vibrant yet minimal color accents were added to reflect creativity without overwhelming the overall look. Modern card layouts were designed for courses and testimonials, making them easier to scan and interact with.
Finally, careful attention was given to spacing and alignment, bringing balance to the layout and ensuring the content felt structured and approachable.
